I’ve been creating characters with watercolor, fabric, and acrylics for many years, returning to the theme again and again. These figures let me explore emotions, social issues, humor, and frustration—all stitched together in a language of color and texture. Each quilt is a collage of stamped, painted, and printed fabrics, connected with hand embroidery and both machine straight and free-motion stitching.
