My painting journey began with a simple experiment—putting cheap craft paints onto painter’s drop cloths with zero pressure. Some of those early works still hang on our roadside fence.
From there, I dove into the study of color, contrast, value, and balance, and all the other endless facets of painting that continue to captivate and challenge me. I also upgraded to artist quality paint!
