public art - a first!

My first official public art installation is on view through the end of October 2025. "Former Federal Agents Looking for Peaceful Work" was developed for The World's Smallest Art Gallery in Peace Dale, Rhode Island. I was invited by curator and artist extraordinaire John Kotula to take a two-month slot. The gallery is a public art space housed in a shallow, protected display case along the local bike path.

This collection was painted with acrylics on watercolor paper. It was a delightfully direct way to bring art into the community.

We had one of my favorite openings on a lovely evening right on the bike path, keeping and eye on the bikes that occasionally whizzed by.
